One was enough

It seems that once most Christians discover God loves them, they spend most of their lives looking for confirmation of what they’ve been told. This is not right. Once we get a revelation of God’s love for us, we should seek to live in a way that honors the sacrifice Jesus made. What are we looking for? Another cross? Another excruciating demonstration of unfailing love? Where is our sacrificial demonstration of extravagant love? Must God live with the contentment of pouring out His own life blood for us, while we flit about, obsessed with our own lives, with no forethought or intention to reciprocate with an appropriate response? Away with such a thought! This does not honor the God we serve!

STOP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER CROSS. ONE WAS ENOUGH.
