This week the Foundations for Counseling and Ministry School began. I (Mekeisha) will be helping to staff this school, so I am very excited to see God's dreams unleashed in this group of young people.
What is an FCM?
Basically, it is a school that will equip us with basic counseling skills, along with the understanding and tools to begin a ministry. We have 17 students, and they each have a passion for different injustice issues - human trafficking, abuse, poverty, etc. How incredible to think I am standing in a room of dreamers who are attaining the tools to become doers. They are the change this world has ached for. And in some small way, I have the opportunity to offer encouragement and passion to fuel the fire God is kindling in their hearts. Woo hoo!
